The One Word I Won’t Say

There’s a word that I am cautious to say.
As I explain, remain open-minded.
Woe to those who picture a rose
When they attempt, in vain, to define it.

It’s nothing profane, I promise you that,
But it’s a word that can be so explicit.
It can also be vague or downright confusing,
For those who are keen to dismiss it.

It’s only four letters, so easy to speak,
But one word can shake up the globe.
It makes you blush, puts red in your cheeks,
Makes you forget everything that you know.

So I hope we remember the power of words,
A lesson never learned too soon.
With luck, I wish to express that phrase:
“I [redacted] you.”
